Community Consolidated School District 15 is the 3rd largest elementary school district in Illinois, with over 13,000 students and 20 schools. District 15 Board of Education

governmental body. It can take action only by majority vote at a public
meeting. The school board is required to meet in public. The purpose of
a school board meeting is to transact the legal business of the school
district through discussion and voting among the members.
