The Executive Board consists of elected PTA members and school representatives. Executive Board PTA members are nominated by a nominating committee, are voted into office by the General Membership, and serve a 2 year term. The Executive Board and chairpersons of the PTA Committees are expected to attend PTA Board meetings, which are also open to the General Membership.

Presidents and Co-Presidents

 Co-Presidents have a wide range of responsibilities, from running PTA meetings to serving as the official liaison between the PTA parents and the Principal.  Co-Presidents find volunteers to chair the committees and represent the PTA at meetings including Council and PTA District meetings. 

Treasurer 

Treasurer is the elected custodian of the local PTA unit's funds, financial records and the official membership list.  Treasurers process reimbursements for PTA expenses and presents the Treasurers report at each PTA Board meeting.

Recording Secretary 

Recording Secretary is the custodian of the PTAs records, except those specirically assigned to others, e.g., Treasurer's records.  Recording Secretary keeps the minutes of the Board meetings.

Corresponding Secretary

 Corresponding Secretary conducts the official correspondence of the PTA and keeps a file of all correspondence.

1st VP/Legislation

1st VP Legislation acts as an aide to the president and fulfills duties assigned by the president.  1st VP Legislation is responsible for informing local PTA members of legislative issues and encouraging communication between PTAs and PTA members and their respective area legislators.

2nd VP/Membership 

2nd VP Membership is responsible for enrolling parents, teachers, staff and members of the community in the PTA, and is responsible for a continuing year round effort to involve and recruit new members.

3rd VP/Ways and Means 

3rd VP Ways and Means is responsible for conducting the annual fundraiser that supports PTAs budget and programs.  3rd VP Ways and Means also coordinates other fundraising efforts that include rewards programs.

Principal and Assistant Principal

The Principal and Assistant Principal are members of the PTA and part of the Executive Board.  They attend PTA Board meetings and report on items of interest, issues of concern and upcoming events.

Teacher Representatives

The Teacher Representatives are teachers at the school who are also PTA members.  They attend PTA Board meetings and usually report on what kind of studies each grade level is working on.
