How do I join the PTA?

Every fall the PTA sponsors a membership drive, but you can join PTA anytime during the year - just fill out a membership form.  As a PTA member, you not only receive the highly coveted PTA directory, but you join a group of individuals and families that care about and support the education of their children at Pleasant Hill.  You will also receive a national and state membership card and gain the right to vote at general membership meetings.

What does PTA do?

Pleasant Hill PTA has over 50 committees that support education at Pleasant Hill, so you are certain to find volunteer opportunities that fit your interests and talents. Check out the PTA committees descriptions to see the wide range of things your PTA does at Pleasant Hill.

How can I get involved?

There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available throughout the school year turn in a volunteer form anytime to indicate your interest in assisting with specific events or committees.  At the beginning of the year, look for opportunities to volunteer at Meet the Teacher and Parent Orientation.  You can also be involved by staying informed about school news and events.  The PTA newsletter is published twice per month.  The PTA calendar contains school and district events and is updated frequently.  Finally, you can support your PTA by participating in our fundraisers, which support the wide range of events we sponsor.
